I have an old set of bashlin spikes that are a bit blunt. Whats the best mehod to sharpen them?

Also, can i replace them if needed? they haven't got screws and look like they're welded on!

Ate they tree gaffs or pole gaffs? Each has a different profile and is filled differently.

It's hard to explain. Pole gaffs are filed only on the tip of the point in a sorta triangle whereas the longer tree gaffs are filed on three sides with the underside rounded over.

wack them on the bench grinder following roughly whatever profile theyve allready got, works for me!
