With them both working well, how does the 341 compare with the 357 Dean?

I can't tell a difference Tom, although the 357 runs a bar a couple of inches less than the 341. The Husqy does seem to have a little more grunt but I put that down to the bar being shorter.

I must admit though, I pick up the husqy much more than the stihl if I'm doing logs/firewood down at the yard, but other than that it's a case of eeny meeny miny mo on saw selection in a morning :001_smile:

The 357 xp and xpg had a carb fault husky wont admit to. Mine was exactly the same ,as was a mates who bought his at the same time. We both got new carbs fitted at our own expense and they now run perfect.they were 2005 saws by the way.

I had exactly the same problem - New carb and right as rain - I tried having the old carb cleaned in a sonic cleaner (whatever that is) - No joy - spoke with Husky who said it's a common problem - you can't see anthing wrong at all when you take the carb out, but for some reason it plays up - glad it's sorted!

Spent two days trying to contact Husqvarna Customer support, left an answerphone message the lot, no response.

Just says all techs are busy, goes into a queue, then after a minute or two goes onto answer machine.

This will be one more reason I stick with stihl.

Will try again today
