Are you familiar with Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria David?

Mechanisms and applications of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria: Current perspective

Jomoco

I have a rudimentary understanding of the science jomoco

We're currently involved in an ongoing compost tea foliar and soil drench application study looking at enhancing microbial activity in the rhizosphere of trees stressed by biotic and abiotic factors.

The study isn't finished yet so we can't report on conclusions but we have base line soil samples to compare when the studies done.

Will start a thread on it later next year.

Good link, thanks for sharing :thumbup1:

Yes I am aware of Paul's Document.

I have been told by several authorities that rhizomorph size is unreliable and the other features you mention would also be difficult to distinguish in the field unless you had an example of each side by side.

But I do have a microscope and will have a go at looking at the microscopic features next time. Cheers.
