I bought one earlier this year in reasonable nick from a friend that acquired it through working for an auction firm. £100 I paid.

Good for him. We had 4 at one time when my son started smithing at 16 until he lost interest recently, after building him a forge etc in the workshop. The heaviest was huge but didn't stop the thieves taking it prob just to weigh it in.

I looked at a job near to me at an old forge the new owner has told me its complete with all the tools they could be for sale , i will ask the question for you

niftysteve.hi! that would be great! son has done some days at fransham forge,and has the offer of some days in Bromley when I work in kent, so any tools so he can build up would be a massive help.......thanks,chris
