Advice on playing with wood..?

Wondered how long it would be 'til there was bloodshed on this thread! Looking good so far though, to me anyway.

 

Well, based on the advice of you lot I've now got a "Frost Mora 164" crook knife, a "Frost Mora 120" knife, a Swiss draw knife and The encyclopedia of Green Woodworking.

 

All the gear and no idea at the moment! I'll have a read through and post a picture of my first attempt (no matter how embarrassing I'm sure it will be).

Here's a few spoon carvings, knives they are carved with the flexcut tools which i find the handle more comfortable plus im cack handed.

Just need to try a proper fork next. If i had to make one to survive i think i would starve it takes me a good few hrs depending on size and wood.
