Aye Jon, but I'm sure I've been told because of water jacket, stove does not radiate enough heat to work fan properly!!

HI MULL your stove should radiate 5/8kw to room thats what I've just seen on google if it not doing that for that size of room it will not get warm in your room our room now is 82f:thumbup1: plus it great thats a 16kw plus:thumbup: euro heat stove to the room and keeps our barn warm thanks jon

I wish we had just put a back boiler in to start with! we gutted the house and put new everything back in. now im sat on an endless supply of logs, a wife who doesnt want the interior disturbing but insists on putting the GAS eating on that we have to pay for

Gas maybe reasonably cheap at this point in time but like all energy sources price is governed by supply and demand so there is only one way the price will go. My point is that if you have a good wood supply then the obvious thing to do is use it.

If you have read my post you will have a rough idea how much air you need to move but running ducting and fans to move that amount of air is not without its problems.

Simplist system is a good back boiler feeding the central heating via a dhw tank/heat store.

However it sounds like you might be past this point so you need to decide if you are going to live with the gas bills, install fans and ducting, or add something like a log boiler or another system outside to drive your heating. If you have gone down the instant hot water route then you would of course need a heat store as well.
