They deep fry eggs in scotland for gods sake.......!

 

friend of mine used to go to calcodie (spelling) for hogmany every year and bring me back some "proper" black pudding. Nothing like it round here.

That will be a hard list to make.....

Where would you start?

 

My sister-in-law brought some stroop waffles (sp) back from the Netherlands once, I would love to try some freshly made ones. Blood sausage, haggis, maybe even gifelte fish. :lol:

I bought halal chips once in dewsbury from a fundamentalist islamic chippy ( everywhere else was closed ) they were truly memorably awful

 

The dog had them - three portions if I remember rightly

Proper Haggis is one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted.....think it was a free range one;)

 

Is a Proper Haggis a type of animal? :lol: Just kidding.

 

Something you should never try is a buck in rut. Awful!! I made a meat loaf out of it and our dogs would not even touch the thing. Best keep the meatloaf doe or another kind of meat.
