I signed and shared it yonks ago, just shared again.

The petition was started two years ago.... I may be wrong but I thought 10,000 signatures would need to be obtained within a 6 month period for it to be considered.

cheers, steve

I fear you may be right Steve.

But there are 23000 arbtalk members, we could make this happen overnight!

If that's the case then it would be best to start a new petition via UKGov..... and getting more of us plugging the hell out of it.

Sure Steve, but there were around the same number of arbtalkers when I bumped the petition last year and only a very few signed up.

It will not be any different next time.

Flogging a dead horse methinks.

Has it been tried on fb?

I've shared it on a few Facebook pages and got a few extra clicks that way, some friends also shared it.

Overall, I think most people aren't bothered about it.

It's obviously not my intention to pee an anyone's fire but surely, most of the people signed up for the arbtalk forum are not active? I could be totally wrong but from what I've observed in my very limited time here it seems only a fraction of the 23k are active.

Is it possible to send out emails to drag people back who otherwise be unaware?

Would only be worth doing if a new petition was setup. Otherwise, what's the point? cheers, steve

I posted a link on the first post of this thread, follow that and you should be able to sign.

However, I fear it may be a little too late for this petition to work, and quite frankly it seems that finding 10000 people interested enough to sign is nigh on impossible.

There are probably not 10000 people in the UK who use enough Aspen to be bothered about the cost saving.

Its a great product, but the customer base is still relatively small.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
