Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of fitting sugihara bars to our saws.

Are they harder wearing?

Better performing?

Better value for money?

Are the lightweight ones really that much lighter?

I know they look really good but there has to be more than that to it. ???

Thanks. Timon

Just bought one myself... Was thinking of getting a sugihara 18" for it. What mods has it got?

Thanks, Timon

I have tried Oregon , Canon , Windsor Speed tip , GB titanium , and of course the standard chocolate Husky bars and if you weigh it all up, cost , longevity , quality of engineering and balance I would say ( and its only my opinion ) that the Sugi Lightweight Pro bars come top . Just me though ....

Best place for Sugi bars is from Rob D on here ( chainsaw bars ) He will give you a discount for being an arbtalk member . My 560 has a MM but not sure what else Pete did . It does however pull an 18" .325 driven by an 8 pin sprocket and is rapid ......:001_smile:
