Hope you heal well and quick fella..

"Bad one, done the same myself but not as deep. It happens.

Good luck with the recovery."

Not wishing to have a pop at anyone but the above statement gets me a bit, many young people in the trade seem to think its par for the course to pick up the odd chainsaw wound.

Its not really the attitude imo, I've neither had nor seen one in 20 ish years mostly through being careful and that's the way it should be.

Like I said not having a go at the guy that posted that but these accidents are generally avoidable.

You make a good point.

Sorry, no sympathy here, actually I'm not even sorry for being cold on this.

Totally avoidable, going against all the common sense taught today about the use of top handle saws.

It's a mark of shame in my opinion of incompetance.:sneaky2:

I suggest you invest in a new Silky and revise your work practices.

Bit harsh me thinks,it's never a nice thing when this happens but understand were your coming from and what you saying but most accidents are exactly that,(accidents) none of us go out to work thinking I know what I think I'll nearly cut my arm of today. Good work practices are all what we aim for but there is always that slplit second. We all know what I mean.

He never asked for sympathy. Indeed specifically said so.

And ty as for your silly comment, keep it to yourself next time. I posted this up for others to be aware of what chainsaws can do when a accident does happen. I dont need you trying to judge me or my work methods from another country of all places.. cheers
