Yes, its anticlock, so I can swap stuff from front to back..

That setup pretty much ticks all the boxes - handles oversize, processes, screens and loads.

Will the crane set up feed the splitter and processor at the same time?

Did you buy screener same time as processor off JAS of did was it fitted to your previous Posch. They seem expensive, but do you find the grid as too short to sift out the debris or perfect and worth the money? Thanks

It does filter out the majority of the trash, especially the fines, if there's a downside its that it lowers the top of the conveyor by a foot or so. I got the screen at a later date, I forget how much it cost, worth the money though IMO.

In theory the crane could feed either machine, but I need to gear down the front PTO first as it runs at 1000 speed and would be over revving the processor before it reached the minimum revs for the crane.

Jas p make their own to fit the Posch conveyor, it works ok and filters most of the trash, certainly to an acceptable level. The posch rotating type is crazy money if I remember rightly.

You can just about make it out in this picture...

Nice set up,bet you get a christmas card from Wilsons :001_smile:

They are over £400 now. Lot of labour to make your own, running around for components etc. so agreed worth the money to improve the finished product. They are certainly well built as I found out when I tried to pick one up at the AA Trade Fair.

We thought about raising processor and tractor by 300mm or so.

Great set up we have our Posch on a concrete base and use a Woodcracker to break down oversized logs, but we find it splinters some of the wood when you split it, do you think the screen would filter out the splintered wood, as we get complaints from customers if they find free kindling in there loads of firewood.

Never been certain if JAS P make the screen thenselves, they must as not seen anywhere in Posch cat or website.

I would recommend enhancing theirs with a longer screen incorporating rollers - this should screen out >90% splinters etc.

Fabrication usually time consuming - modification fast ( generally that is)

If you are in the business for the long haul galvanising ideal, but most of us will be 6ft under before anything we make falls apart.
