What's the best way to make a movie (from go pro footage) on a MacBook Air/ how are others doing it? (No SDHC slot)

 

Go pro is an older hero2, I used to do it on windows-sdhc slott, movie maker

Hi,

 

Spotlight for iMovie, its provided with OSx theres an 'iMovie getting started' as well & plenty of online stuff to help

Nah she's not into that.....got a bollocking last time i tried

 

Hands doing good, one more week in plaster, then physiotherapy, should be back to work in november...alot to catch up on, might even have to start doing 5 days a week :thumbdown:

Josh, does the air have USB? If it has just download the movies straight to the mac.

 

I use the gopro studio software, free from the gopro website. Not mastered it completely but can do what I want to do.

Yeah it's got a couple of USB slots, just no sdhc slot. Diddnt realize I could do it via a cable and leave the card in the gopro, ordered the cable so will hopefully have a play next week

Best way mate. Plug the gopro in and export from camera. Sometimes exporting from the card and reader gives errors when you delete them. When I plug. One I. It automatically opens iPhoto. I just import and then delete the files from the card in that.

 

Once on the mac I use the gopro studio software I mentioned.
