I've got a Stihl HL95 that no matter what i try, it will not tick over. I can only get it so that the blades continue to run if i adjust the carb anymore it just stops.

I obviously don't want to use it like this so is there anything else i can check to try and get it ticking over properly?

Are you sure its not the clutch spring thats gone, preventing the centrifugal clutch from disengaging?

Been told by our local dealers to use full synthetic 2t oil, boss has a km100 run on full synth and his father in law runs his on semi synthetic.

Both machines less than a year old and the semi synthetic machine seems harder to start and doesn't seem to run as smooth.

Dont know if theres any logic in that just my two pence
