At present I run a Canter and towed chipper but I am looking to switch to Unimog and pto chipper.

Looking to Reg the mog as agriculture vehicle.

Canter is a good vehicle ..but it doesn't have good ground clearance, 4x4 and expensive on parts. I run a timberwolf dbh150 which is a good little chipper but is ltd at being 6inch.

Looked Into new canter 4x4 and daily 4x4 but both are expensive for what they are...when I can buy a mog instead.

What are the plus and negatives of owning a Mog?

Thanks

doing domestic work, you dont have any of the advantadges, white diesel, hgv reg, and "o"licence limitations, tacho restrictions, and all the normall crap that goes down this road, you would be a lot cheaper upsizing on your truck, look at any 4x4 7 1/2 tonner, and if you really want you can stick a pto on most of them for a chipper. you could try the agri route, but if you transgress just a little off the rules, and they are strict !!!, you will get hammered by VOSA and HMRC
