ART friction saver instalation

Recommended Posts

i fanny about using one because i had the balls to give it a try and really get on with it you should try it and se how much easyer and faster it makes big tree work . putting it up is easy but the complication comes when i try to add the removal side of it , the directions that were posted by brewb are a bit hard to follow (section 5)

yeah we start the take down tomorrow tommer mate and really looking forward to it . hows things with you

hey bro i dont really know how to type instructions on how to install the retrieval bit-if i get the chance ill take some photos but tbh its a real kafuffle that isnt worth the effort. like marc said-SRT up and then do the installation, much easier.

I think this is how its done. Your retrieval clip has to be on the end of your rope guide, not through the shock absorber. It looks a bit weird but does work, the retrieval clip doubles back over the branch but when you go to remove it all flips into place and falls normally.
