I have a newly aquired transit tipper truck 90 350 with hiab crane, crane means lower payload, have recently fitted heavy duty leaf spring, is there anything I can fit up front for extra weight? ie springs or suspension?

any help would be appreciated

Rear springs keep it looking from being overloaded, but won't give it any more legal payload. Plus your front springs only ever take the weight of the crew and engine...

Thanks for the reply, my truck has a Hiab crane and chassis strengthening steel framework added by previous owner, couple that with being heavily loaded the front end gets a hammering

anyone know if heavy duty or thicker springs for front are available? or anything else I can try?

cheers

tom
