Unwanted logs to get rid of

Hi all

I have quite a lot of logs sat in a field. They have been there for about 2yrs now. Mostly cut to suitable size. I would guess there is about 20-30 transit loads there.

Mixture of hard and soft wood.

I need to remove them ( in a friends filed).

I can prob arrange use of a loader to help load them up.

They are in Wokingham, Berkshire.

Looking to shift them or else i am going to have a big old bonfire.

I was planning to get into firewood but life decided that it wasn't to be.

Please pm me if you may be interested.

A large lorry (artic size) lorry can get very close and a loader can do the rest.

Many thanks

Hi Arborist

Yes your welcome to as much as you want!

drop me a line.

Size wise i tend to have to hump it out of back gardens so it has to be manageable by hand.

To save future cutting i tended to cut it to 10 inch thick rings mostly ( unless out of time).

I was planning to get into firewood and hadnt figured the best way to handle it/ store and stack. I know some people keep it in lengths but split, others just lengths.

mine is all arb waste.

like i said its all been sat for about 2 yrs.

i had plans but family tragedy ruined it all and the firewood went with it.

TBH i am happy to help with the loading but arranging the lorries to deliver is not something i have experience with and at this time not looking to start doing.

Many thanks

Jose
