Where to dump green waste Suffolk area

Hey people...

 

First post here..

 

Ok, so im a Franchisee for the elec board, basically maintaining their sub stations, cutting the hedges / trees, weed spraying etc...

 

Working all over Suffolk and North Norfolk.

 

Been doing it for about 8 years now...

 

I drag a trailer around with me most of the time, or a transit tipper...

 

Ive always got rid of my green waste at a place called Material Change, based in Creeting, Suffolk,... Its ok, but not exactly near my house (Kesgrave).

 

What I was wondering was..... Where do you guys tip ? is there any other places near to me, reasonably priced ?

 

I know there is Foxhall Rd tip, but I think you have to unload by hand, drag it up the steps and throw it in the green bins.... Not very practical....

 

Ive searched all over the net for green waste recycling etc, but come up with nothing..

 

There must be more places around here and in Norfolk too...

 

Any help would be much appreciated...

The City care depot on mile cross road used to take green waste but I'm not sure if they still do. Worth a call to ask though

I know the recycle centre at Bury St eds has facilitates for green waste, I guess most councils do this now and produce compost from it to sell on? If you're producing a reasonable volume is it not worth hiring/buying a shredder to reduce the amount? Do you have room for a skip and occasionally fill that when you have enough?

Mile cross red, rings a bell but can't picture it... Remind me where it is....?

 

Don't really have room for skip....

 

Again, needs to be somewhere where I can just unload the trailer and drive off without having to walk up steps etc.

 

Like I say there is a dump near me, Foxhall red, but you have to walk the veg up steps and throw it in big bins.... This just isn't practical...

If it's green waste TMA bark at hockering near norwich,greencomp near wymondham I think most will charge for a trailer as do all council sites including mile cross in norwich if it's chip or shredded you may get a free tip .

How do you go about tipping though... can you just "throw" it out or do you have to "fork" it out, up steps in bins etc, or just throw it on the floor...
