1106 series is still in production Jon, longest production saws, the design hasn't changed much in 55 years either

 

A som,ewhat interesting question is where they are made by now, Germany or Brazil. The latest firm inform,ation I have on the matter is from 2005 or so, when they still were made in Germany - but rumors say that production has been moved moved to Brazil....

It went to brazil certainly for the 051 and 076 saws so certainly wouldn't surprise me.
