Your dealer is having a laugh with blades at £120. Can't remember how much the genuine ones are (sub £100 though). However, these have been fine on a couple of my heads:

HEDGETRIMMER BLADE SET FITS STIHL HL45 HL75 HL-KM COMBI | eBay

Buxtons for you. They wanted 265 for kombi head!

I bought some non genuine blades from ls engineers brown hills.

They are sneaky though! They only list genuine stihl blades but if you dig deep enough you can find non genuine that fit, but of course they don't list them as fitting hl or km!

£46.00 for a pair!

265 quoted for kombi head at Buxtons.

212 at TFM.

Used shaft for a cheapo pole saw I had lying around

Thanks

Stihl Hedgtrimmers are like printers, except they are expensive to buy and the gear sets cost a fortune. Done 7 sets of gears over time, but not a job for someone who lacks patience.

This is like the Zig Zag scenario - a bit more metal in the gears and problem solved.

We grease the gearbox every 16 hours and they still

fail!

I l my long arms are like triggers broom! I can always trust the old hs45..

Back of the tool box and only gets treated to scrub clearance!

But credit where it's due pull them out and fire instantly even if not used for a fortnight!

Anyone had any trouble with km130 lack of compression? Ongoing issue. 2013 model. Rocker keeps popping off the valve. Take it to dealer all they ever do is push it back on...

Thanks
