Don't know the laws inerpretation, both my logs, and chips, are in my opinion a legitimate, valuable resource/product. not something to be dumped in landfill or taken to a reclamation {scrap}yard.

If log or brash is being removed from a site, in its unprocessed form i believe it is classed as waste and therefore a carriers licence is required...to be honest it is safe just to obtain one...however i am not sure about the movement of timber in a processed form.

i always thought logs that where bought in then prosessed where classed as a product????

i know its classed as waste if it was from a customers tree...

but theres that many rules and regs now, people dont know where they stand....:confused1::mad1::confused1:
