Printing on Aectate or the a4 sheet that labels come on works really well. The colours are faded on the sheet but once printed stand out more. If varnished/sprayed they come out even more.

There are a few different ways of doing it , this one I printed on photo paper, glued photo face down with a liqutex gel, wait overnight. Then soak the backing paper with water until you can see the picture and slowly rub off. Be careful if you rub to hard you can remove the picture.
