Depending on how comprehensive you want to go might include:

Emergency Plan

Pollution Control Plan

Accident Reporting Forms

Copies of Certs

I'm assuming your RAMS includes all grid refs, contact details, nominated supervisors, nominated first aiders, evacuation procedures, muster points etc, etc. These could be individual documents if not included in RAMS. I'm also sure that there's other stuff could include that I've overlooked.

Don't forget 'near miss' forms; if you've guys working for you who use your kit and something happens due to the condition of the kit, they need to be able to report it back to you. The same can be said for big swings, or near misses with chainsaws nicking trousers etc.

The AA do a good risk assessment course with all the forms etc you need

Stupid question but besides the obvious what should a health and safety pack for tree surgery contain? RAMS and ???

Hi Simon, there is no 'absolute' here and it will often be dictated by the commercial clients you work for and what their expectations are. However, it is nonetheless quite useful to have some stuff at hand to use / refer to in the event of an incident / accident and/or just as a point of reference.

As an industry benchmark, to some degree, and said as the scheme is recognised as such by HSE (and of course as we dual-accredit with CHAS,) I have attached the ARB Approved Contractor standards (small business) below and what you refer to as the H&S 'pack' is broadly covered in Module 1 (sects. 1.1.1 and 1.1.2) I would suggest.

I hope this to be some help.

It's a good idea to think of all the reference data you and you guys might like to/need to look at either when a situation arises, (like; "Just how do I set out signs and cones near this road junction?"), or, ("Who do I call now I've located a badger sett at the base of this tree?). Along with any hazard analysis data you have for your RAMS and the control methods/equipment lists and the training data sheets, (AFAG).

Which is quite a lot of stuff.

Which is why we have all ours on tablets. The guys can access all the data they need, read policies, handbook etc.
