Anybody have a dumper gathering dust. Need to level ground for a new agri building and was going to buy one off the bay but dont trust it any more and hiring seems to be dead money.

 

HI JOHN what size are you after mate 2 wheel drive ok or 4wd thanks i will ask a mate thanks jon :thumbup:

For one off base construction for a building, it's far more cost effective to hire a big digger and dumper and get it all bashed out.

 

Dumpers are cheap as chips to hire. You say it's dead money, but by the time you've paid to ship a dumper from where you buy it and dealt with your first breakdown....

 

Unless you have ongoing use for it rather than just this building I'd hire.

I have a 2 tonne fork lift dump skip which I thought of using with this rough terrain forklift.

That was until I read about the fatalities and the ease in which they tip over which has put me off slightly.

swan plant dachet nr heathrow have plenty of kit i got a good neuson skip loader from them now i have will not part with it is so useful.

paid£2500 for mine and has not missed a beat. now have a system going neighbour has a 1.5 digger i borrow he borrows dumper. works well.

the neuson what i like is it forward reverse is on the side os sterring wheel and has a standard throttle peddal some have a joy stick you push to go either way trouble is your going along and ant to stop and forget its on the joystick plus higher.
