As the title indicates I'm looking for a bit of advice on using 10mm hitch cord on 11.7 rope as apposed to 8mm. My thinking is that it may last longer and dissipate heat a little better?

Daniel.

Only climb on 10mm myself cannot stand 8mm to small in hand, gets hotter and often binds to tight. Currently gone back to the cheapest poly stuff I can find.

Each to their own, try 10mm you might like it, it's the beauty of the Hitch over mechanicals many possibilities and tuneable.
