He doesn't want experience he wants money. He can still do tree work, just top it up with hedges, lawns etc, plus send the wife out to work! Keep your head down, stash away as much as poss. Bobs your uncle, he's got the deposit.

 

Well he is already out there doing the experience thing and experience brings skills and skills brings more money

My best earning job of the year is when I go on my annual Pilgrimage to the Black Isle in November. I pick up chrismas trees that somebody else has marked, yet somebody else cut, and yet somebody else has netted.

I put the tree on a pallet., for somebody else to drive off with.

Repeat until there are no more trees on the ground.

 

3 weeks, near £6.5K. no skill required, (but you have to be strong of body and mind and fit as a fit man) no cost (well, a pair of gloves this last year):thumbup:
