I've always thought Dave's rig is running darn close to the ultimate Rig.

 

Just needs to get him some MEWPage in there somehow or other :001_tongue:

its hard not to be impressed by hucks set up and ability to use it. i am feeling the need to upgrade my hiab trailer, but its just money money money all the time with kit. i am hoping to get down to daves soon for a play, and pick up some tips, he has already given me some pointers over the phone that worked a treat. i havent got any pics on this laptop of my mog,chipper,crane se up so todays tractor photo will have to do:001_cool:

This is what we have built over the last few months. Purchased mog off a mate as a chassis cab before Christmas and built the tipping subframe and chipbox ourselves, Has a 10" TP on front at moment but are going to replace it with a 14" drum chipper. Building a trailer for it at the moment and looking to get a crane for the trailer.

Tp is fine on front, has normal pto shaft so alignment is no problem. We put a Farmi 260 on front of a mog and close coupled, the back of the chipper housing was 8" from the mogs bumper just use a Fennerflex coupling to sort out alignment. Probably going for a Morbark drum unit and mod it to suit.
