1500 pull up/chins up Challenge!

I'm nearly 39!

I've lost loads of strength in the last 2 years.

Hardly climb now, if I do it's with spikes on removals.

The gym is here and there.

Pull-ups and dips used to be my thing:)

10 sets of 10 back to back 60 sec rest, I'd started to add weights that was just 3 years ago.

Then work got busy again.

Hopefully get back into a training regime in the next few months.

Too much on just now to give it 100%.

Keep at it:)

this is the pull up bar i use. i use x4 different grips x2 palms away x2 palms in. x2 15 reps x 2 10 reps = 50 x 3 = day done.

in all honestly i though it was crazy idea, but amazing how your body get used to it so fast. i was doing a few before but nowhere near 150 per day. have a go...

Is it 1500 chins or 1500 chin on the bar any technique?

Asking as I will be starting tomorrow morning and see how many days it takes to forget I started. That kit looks good I just have a length of 4x2 across the garage roof that cuts in to the hands a bit.

I did 500 in 6 hours a few years ago when I was a (rock) climbing bum. I was given the idea by a strong climber I met who used to do a 1000 in a day.

It was good and had made me stronger. Apart for about a week my arms would not straighten probly.

ps. Use gym rings or boge something up to be kind to your joints
