Indespension tipper problem

Had this trailer a month or two and suddenly developed a problem.When tipped (electrically) any less than full height,as soon as I let go of up button it drops straight away.It has a nearly new ifor pump and electrics,the manual lowering valve is closed tight,no oil leaks,ram is in good nick,stumped! Help before it squashes someone thanks guys

Is it short off a one way valve fitting on the flow assuming it got a flow and return?

There are 2 valves in the pump tank unit, one is the solenoid operated valve to lower the body, the other is a pressure relief. Its likely that one or the other isn't sealing properly.

An electrical short? I did leave the button out in a shower,i'll try my friends

They differ from unit to unit but in this picture the black round object (it will have wires) is the solenoid and the PR valve is probably lurking under the hex nut at the bottom of the unit

raise it half way then unplug the controller make sure no one leans under it. If it stops dropping then the controller is shorted if it still drops the controller is ok. Strange it stays when fully tipped sounds like must be pressure relief valve as there is less weight on the ram when fully tipped.
