i cleared some scrubby trees today for 4 houses.they had never seen their view before as they all moved in about 3 years ago. the houses are about 20 years old the banking infront of their houses dropped about 50 feet very steeply, so you can imagine the hieght the mix of sycamore,birch and willow were. i think they will be happy when they get home tonight after being stuck in their offices all day:thumbdown::001_cool:

its cowal dave, just up a bit up the coast from bute. that is dunoon and the mountains in the back ground are looking west. with the holy loch straight ahead. thats where the american nato base was for 20 odd years. if you remember the pics i put up before with the reflection on the loch, which was loch eck at the foot of those mountains

Nice.

 

I'm up around the East coast later this year, but I feel a pull toward the west before to long.

Maybe next year.
