HI I don't bother with gloves either had a couple of near misses using splitter when wearing gloves, better to be able to see were your fingers are

thanks for the concern chris its a hydraulic splitter i use so not that bad its when i throw the split wood or gripping large lumps to split etc and its only my left hand that wears out lol i must have a grip like a crab one weak one strong lol

"Cutter" brand plain leather gloves. Got several pairs. Still not worn any of them out. Unlike Stihl chainsaw gloves which generally last me about a week max...

 

i think its the throwing bit as i lob the split logs into the pile thats buggering the glove up only my left handed glove gets the fingers worn through in no time at all i've tried wearing the old right one on my left hand but it make my hand ache no funny replies please lol i know my left hands got a good grip :laugh1:
