Hi all and welcome.

 

I see by the forum rules that posting links to business's is not allowed :(, and thus I assume promoting business in any way on here is not allowed?

 

Thus although probably no, would I or my web developer be allowed under any circumstance be allowed to post a link to my own business website that I am associated with for a small bit of promotion and back linking or would this strictly be prohibited?

If its for a tree surgery website then you are welcome to put a link in your signature. The business types the rules refer to are business's offering services to the forum members(tree surgeons)

 

In addition, please note we have a few arborist directory you can register in.

 

Find Arborists , Tree surgeons, consultants in your area

Ok sure, can see why no one wants unsolicited spam.

 

Think I will get my web developer to add my business to the arborist directory.

Why am I not allowed to use that restricted word more than once per post??? Nothing in the rules about it?
