these new saws are made by dolmar some of the older dolmar top handled models where made in japan for dolmar

Pics pls Andrew, are they exactly the same as the makita toppers? I did once have the little 25cc mak, it wasn't very good and didnt last long.

Hi,

i'm moving away from sthil to husky and would like to change my ms 261 's for the husky equivalent. does anyone run both and what advice can you give? i run 15" bars on the 261's.

cheers.

What I don't get about questions like this is that you've already made a decision to go with a particular brand (no reasons given) and yet you still don't know what that brand offers in direct competition to your existing brand?!

Maybe outline your requirements and constraints (like why you are tied to Husky) and folk can advise you on suitable machines for the job :thumbup1:

(p.s. no axe to grind... Husky user myself)

Alex
