Hi all, trying to decide on my first micro pulley (isc, dmm pinto, petzl) for my lanyard. Any recommendations or are they very much like for like? And is fixed cheek or moving cheek better and why? Cheers

I have a hitch climber on my main line as talked about on other thread, and a Stein Skywalker on my lanyard - this acts as a normal slack tending pulley when on side D's, but gives the option to use it as a short line off bridge or 3rd hitch climber hole!

Ah excellent. So is the only advantage of a swing cheek is that you can get it on and off the rope quicker?

I prefer a Swing cheek on my lanyard as it takes up less room on my carabiner.

Always used a pinto until recently using a hitchclimber, much better, close cheeks I prefer for getting the eyes of the hitch closer, and great for a second climbing line if needed
