Wow! Tailgating with a difference!

The Royal Air Force wanted a close up of a Typhoon in flight so they got a camera crew on the lip of an opened rear door of a C130 (Hercules, aka Fat Albert). The crew asked if he could get closer - "How close do you want me?" was the response....

That's awesome. I was once working in a USAF AC130, and went in the cockpit during the pre-mission air to air refuelling, it was dark and obviously the to aircraft were close, like really close, but nothing like that photo. I reckon you could have a go at refueling the typhoon with a combi can he's so close!
