Yes I did it a few years ago when the iPhone came out in O2, I did the jailbreak and had it on Vodafone.

I'm just changing some phones to EE from Vodafone: sim only, £10 p/m (plus VAT) for 1gb data, 1000mins calls, unlimited texts.

 

I have an unlocked iphone4, backed everything up then reset it, then took it to local shop who unlocked it for £5. Took him seconds and now I can use any sim card on it. Also got an iPhone5 but signal is crap on it, consistently one bar less than on the 4

 

Edit: And one bar signal difference means a lot when out in the sticks!

I'm happy with EE just not my current deal.

I want away from contracts, technology moves so fast now.

HI STEPHEN my mum ask EE 2 weeks ago for a unlocking code for a iPhone 4 it was on EE they have to give here a code but there messing us about i will never use EE again they are a joke customer care theres none :thumbdown:thanks jon
