Tough 11mm ropes

Hi fellas, been climbing on 11mm tachyon for a while now teamed with a zig zag. However I could do with a tougher rope that I can use on things like conifer reductions etc.

Curious why you think Tachyon isn't tough enough for leylandii topping?

Tried so many ropes but defo agree Samson Velocity is fantastic. Very flexible and easy to tie knots, grippy, brill for SRT and DDRT etc and easy to splice. And cheap!

Yeah tends awesome, really like it. However used it topping some leylandii the other day and it just didn't run the same.

I run my ropes through pulley/cambium saver every tree so species shouldn't matter (in my opinion)

Cheap? £207 for 45m + splice, I though that was expensive?

As much as I love velocity, and I really do, I'd say tachyon was tougher. Not quite as soft and a tighter braided sheath I reckon.
