Removing exhaust from 441

Any pointers how to get the exhaust off my 441? Ive undone the two nuts on the front but it doesnt seem to want to budge, and i dont want to force it.

Nuts on the inside back?? Or underneath?? Off the top of my head there are a couple more to undo maybe??

Take of the front cover of the exhaust, inside there is two bolts either side of the exhaust port, take them out.

Mine has a couple of three legged spring bungs in the

front of the silencer,spring these out and there are

torx screws behind.

Ok so ive lost the bungs from the front of the exhaust:blushing:

Might not be....

 

Taking one of the bungs out increases the power.Two bungs might make it run too cool or you will have to tune it so rich that it won't idle.

 

You can block up the bungs with a carridge bolt and two washers.Put the nut on the outside and leave enough of the threaded portion sticking out of the washer so you can grip it when you turn the nut.
