Should be down to problem area around 11.30am James, there's a service on from 9.30 till 10.30 so all work has to stop till it's over.

I've felled a butt onto tyres before, but never thrown chogs onto them.

 

Do they not bounce off badly? Oops - there goes the stained glass window!

Nice idea with the tyres. I really like bandit chippers, theres just something about them.

Finished the stem off today, the 30" bar on the 66 was only just going through at 25 foot and I was cutting them about 14" deep. The tyres coped no problem but there was the odd one or two that did bounce back up a few feet, but if you stack a small brash pile round the tyres it takes care of that problem.
