Fungi help?

Hello,

Looking to get a bit of help on the identification of this fungi. I have seen it on a few trees recently (all of which Beech). Hopefully there is pictures attached.

There is the dark bracket which appears in multiples around the main stem, within the first 4 metres (as far down as ground level) and also this white mass which is brown when dissected. None of the beech are in good condition and a few have thrown large stems.

I thought it was some form of Ganoderma but would appreciate some more experienced eyes opinions.

Cheers,

Jay
