Stump Grinder Bearings

Hi all just asking for a little help on basically were to buy the best bearings for the stump grinder cutter head ? and are they just a replacement to be fitted into the bearing holder ? or is it a complete replacement unit . Thanks :thumbup: Grinder is rayco sp 20 hp pedestrian with multi tip teeth .

They will be a standard bearing, you should be able to get them from a motor factor I would think. You just need to measure the old one or get the info from raco.

dont go to rayco rtheyl spank yr arse ,is it just there bearing or the casing as well,get the part nmb & ring atlantic beraings @ leeds ,01132506640.:001_smile:

 

could be worthn trying to up grade to purge bearings they take more hammer than the stanard 1,s

If you can I always think it's worth using a local supplier. You never know when you need odd things off them so a relationship is worth building. Also worth getting a spare set in my opinion, they won't be expensive if it's just the bearing that presses into the casing. My little carlton is an imperial size, worth bearing in mind when replacing to get the right size.
