Oh gawd please don't get me started on what ive got :001_tt2:

Im building a 394/395 hybred at the mo using the heavier (more torque) crank and fly off a 394 but using a new quad ported new meteor cylinder which im waiting to turn up from the USA. Will get ported etc before it goes on the saw. 394 non epa carb etc.

Cant wait to put it up against a 660 when its done .......:lol::lol:

So that would be the Walbro rather than the Tillotson ?

660. Miles lighter = more productive. Had a 390 - horrible dead weight of a saw. Smooth but my word was it heavy.

Quoted Figs from respective manufactures ...power head only ...

660 7.5KG

390 7.1KG

so not much in it really , Stihl a tad heavier.....

I'll bet if you put the two on your own scales it won't be those numbers. Manufacturers figures are nearly always well off. Like bhp figures for cars.

Yep probably but are you saying the Husky ones are well off but not the Stihl ??

So 385/390 is 16.7ib (7.5 kg) with oil/fuel

But as no ones brave enough to ever put a stihl on the scales my moneys still on the Husqvarna being lighter..

Keep telling you Jon when your ready ive got a new 395xp here still in the box and I will bring a ported 394/395 along to but you need some of your big butts :001_tt2:. Remember the 395 gains nearly 1hp just by the muffler mod due to epa restrictions

Oh and heres a video for you to watch
