bulk bags per 25t forestry truck load

Hi folks

Can anyone help me with this question?

How many bulk bags (full bags shaken) of roadside soft wood should I expect to get off a 25t forestry truck.... or stacked in pallets 1m3

Be interesting to know the answer but I'm going to take a guess and say 70. Let's see what others come back with

My guess is based upon I recon a bulk bag of soft wood is around 300kg max so 25t would give you around 70 bags. This however a total guess

idid a 12 ton load and got 3.5 bags to the ton so i would say 87.5:thumbup:

We usually get 45-50 cubic metres out of a 25 ton load of softwood

Thats some heavy soft wood. I filled 3 bulk bags with ash and elm last year, they weighed 280kgs a bag on average.

Pine is one of the heaviest wood their is when its green. Depends on size of bag but I would say 40 1 metre cube bags more than that is a bonus.
