Iv got loads of spares all new for a 166 inc 42 bar with sachs dolmar painted on never used fuel tank with oiler starter front handle rear handle mufler felling spikes air box just need a engine and I'm away, Fat chance me thinks, Lol

i sold mine last year and wish i hadnt T.C.D on here calls the 166 ''the bull''

there are one or two about but most people wont sell

Sachs famous advertising said the 166 was "strong as a bull" so in the PNW it became known as the bull.

atleast it went to a good home. Where the hell did Flaming Ace go tho?

 

For me, the Sachs Dolmars epitomised the glory years.

Yes Mac branded other saw makes for export iv got a pro Mac 1000 this is a partner p100 iv also got two partner p100 and rt12 all the same they are proper big saws ahead of there time 100 cc light and well built way ahead of the stihls that where around in the seventies Il not be selling these

Sorry fellas partner r440 not rt 12 the rt 12 was a old school vintage saw nothing like the p100 or r440

 

have you looked at any of the old solos iam after two solo chainsaws

the super rex and the 603

 

some of the big echo saws look a good investment that cs1201 that is still being sold in the south american countries looks a monster
