DBH Girth Tape Advice

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'll make my first post here hopefully an easy one for those who can help me please.

I have forgotten how to wrap my 3 metre DBH tape up so that it stores nicely!

I seem to remember it has something to do with doubling back part of the tape on the D-ring when you are nearly finished wrapping me, but for the life of me I can't remember and it's an annoying niggle!

Thanks to anyone who can help me with this.

I always do it wrong first time. My DBH tape is in the car and thus too far away to go and get to work out how to do it.

Basically you put one end through the ring and then rap it up anti clockwise so it coils up and the d ring is tight to the outside and it stays rolled up.

Wind it up and then push a loop through the D ring, invert this loop over the coil of tape.

NB this shortens the life of the tape as it flexes the bit attached to the ring.
