Not to start with but if left in the spark arrester clogs up quickly.. best off in a drawer somewhere in this country

Yes it's really bad, it likes to chatter and bounce out of cuts you have to fight with the saw to keep it in big bits of timber. I threw the chain in the bin I felt it was verging on dangerous so i got a stihl chain made up No anti vibe cack on it old school depth gauges and full chisel cutter. Perfect :001_cool:

I used the one in my workshop just outside Lincoln.. not sure if there are propper disposal depots about.. probably should be haha

Evening lads. Just set the auto tune on the t540xp, went through a load of ash and old cherry. Really impressed with the throttle response and the power!! The only thing I'm a bit worried about is the amount of blue smoke coming from the bar and chain it was pouring out!! And I think the chain is crap aswel so going to swap that for the oregon one I bought.

Could the smoke be oil residue burning off?? The saw is oiling I did check a number of times.
