I am looking to buy. I would like to sell or swap my 3 phase woodmizer for a lucas mill but happy to just buy outright with no px. I think this would suit our kindling use better.

Good find I have been looking for months on ebay cant even find completed listings. I thought 12k was too much for a new one. I was offered an old lucas mill with small blade for less than 2k should have bought it :001_smile:. I dont need a big blade only need to knock the wood down to 3x2 and dont need it to be accurate. Thanks for posting it up :thumbup1:

Steve,

I can see why for knocking out 3"by2" battens a "flip" saw would be more suitable.

Presumably less nonsense with changing bands/blades as well, esp with a tugnsten tipped circular blade.

Now

What model/spec/condition is your potentially for sale woodmizer?

Cos, like

I could always buy a suitable 3PH Generator from some bloke on the intersnot

If the price were right?

Regards,

Marcus

Its a 2005 yr lt15 I think. Rare to find one this size with electric up down. Looking for £3500 . Has four bed sections and about 20 blades. I run it on a 60kva but I am sure a 20 kva would cope.

I'll be selling my Peterson at some stage in the nearish future - it's the same one as in the ebay listing ie 8" WPF with high lo rails...

Has x8 blades. But I need to finish processing up the wood in my yard first - there's a fair bit of greenheart and the Peterson is the only mill that will cut it!

I'd be looking for £7,000-00 +vat

Hi Rob

I will give it some thought the one on ebay he thinks he has sold it for £8000 inc vat if it falls through he will let me know. I probably only need something rough and ready unless I am going to do proper milling.
