quickfencer anygood?

just wondered if any of you boys use one or have used one and what you thought of it we got quite abit of fencing to do and have always done it with clamps and chains, we are looking at ways of speeding it up cheers jim

Works OK if your happy to strain to the post and staple it on. Correct way is to tie it around each end strainer and meet/tension in the middle. But with people who want rock bottom price, mild steel wire etc I use one and it saves lots of time.

I have used one to roll out 6ft deer netting using the long tubes which you lift on. I have also used one on a 3500m stock wire job we just knotted the wire at one end then spooled it out then used it to tension the wire against a strainer or turning post then carried on until the next break in the line (gate etc) which we would then knot it and pull it up with the clamps.

Bloke near us uses one alot seems to make a tidy job. I have a simple frame that fits on linkage arms with a removable bar to unroll nets use 100m nets. Then use gripples to tension wire

also if you are to be using it to strain make sure you lift the netting up so the jaws catch the bottom strand of the netting otherwise it will make then netting go out of shape and make sure the jaws don't clamp and of the knots because it wont pull up and can slice the wire
