Expansion cracks?

The tree is being given the chop in the next few weeks due to its instability. Further cracks have appeared and in the dry weather the original spilts have opened up showing vertical splits in the timber. I will be getting pictures of the dismantle and any rot which may appear during the dismantle.

It was felled this morning by a local tree surgeon. Sadly couldnt get any decent pictures due to the area they had cordoned off. Judging by the colour of the wood in the middle it was a good call to have it felled. Will be up early in the morning to get pictures of the remaining stem which was ringed up ready for removal by the tree surgeon.
