Pie Eater Pete is currently staying in our area for a few days and so he invited himself along for a 4 course lunch in between helping us fell a dozen Lombardy 'Un'poplars... ha ha ha.

Pete is from Wigan but you couldn't tell until he spoke, lucky we have Google translate on our iphones.

Pete pitched in and grafted all day under a sun such as Wigan rarely see's showing us how to work to a real beat of the drum.

In the restaurant, as we sat down he regaled us with tales of flaccid sandwiches munched in steamy transit cabs and endless days of grey Wigan weather.
